Linearly Dependent Functions
Functions are linearly dependent when for all with constants not all zero.

A set of functions is linearly dependent if there exist constants , not all zero, such that

Equivalently, a set of functions is linearly dependent if one or more of the functions can be written as a linear combination of the others.
